Leader Foods has opened a snack bar factory in Finland and is inviting ingredients suppliers to collaborate with it on new product development.
Leader Snack Factory opened last month in Toholammi with an annual capacity of 90M bars, with the aim of growing this to 250M bars within four years.
It is producing bars for sectors including diet, organic and functional food sectors. Leader is courting firms in fields such as plant-based, probiotic and low-carb ingredients.
"We strive to become the leading snack bar manufacturer in Europe," said export director Markus Poyhonen.
