Food manufacturing firm ADM target Middle Eastern cocoa market
Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) will be showcasing the latest additions to its deZaan range of chocolate and cocoa products at this month's Gulfood 2013 in Dubai.

Designed to enable artisan bakers and chefs to achieve an expert finish, the deZaan Gourmet line includes Belgian chocolates, a single-origin range and responsibly sourced cocoa. It is being introduced to the Middle Eastern market following a successful launch in Asia last year.

ADM Cocoa has recently expanded its Singapore facility to produce premium cocoa powders, such as the intensely flavoured 350DP11, 354DP11 and 400DP11, and speciality single origin cocoa liquors such as the 888NL pure Papua New Guinea liquor and the pure origin Unicao Ghana liquor. The deZaan high performance powders for bakery, beverages, cereals, confectionery, dairy and ice cream will also be on show.

The latest additions to ADM's Arcon portfolio of functional soya protein concentrates feature a new hybrid application technology. Arcon is designed to boost the consumer appeal of meat products, such as emulsified sausages, cured meats, hamburgers and kebab meat. Soya isolates, functional concentrates and textured vegetable protein can help firms take advantage of growing demand for more nutritional and economical meat products.
