ADM has opened its first commercial-scale plant in the US to make Clarisoytm: the 'world's first vegetable-based protein that offers clarity in liquid media and high-quality protein nutrition'. The transparent, isolated soy protein became available for customers looking for commercial-scale quantities last month.
"Demand for clean-tasting, transparent proteins continues to increase in the growing fruit and vegetable juice and sports nutrition categories," said Bruce Bennett, general manager of ADM speciality products. "We can now serve demand for proteins in low pH beverages."
