When it comes to tackling pests, education is key, says Rentokil Pest Control, which has just launched a new programme designed to help raise pest-awareness in food factories.

The Pestaware package, which includes posters urging staff to keep doors shut and clean up spillages, has been developed following research suggesting pest problems are often exacerbated because shopfloor staff don't raise the alarm as soon as they suspect a problem or are unaware of what they can do to help prevent pests.
