Food process technology firm, the Walsall Engineering Group is now the UK and Irish sales and engineering partner for Italian oven manufacturer Verinox.
Verinox makes a range of modular industrial ovens that can be adapted for cooking, smoking, drying, baking, browning, steaming, roasting, stewing and pasteurisation. The most popular application is steam cooking under pressure, which brings higher temperatures and quicker processing times.
The equipment allows a wide range of food to be processed as either a batch or semi-batch operation. Food products handled include meat, cheese, fish, sausages, cooked ham, paté, pizza and bakery products.
Verinox can adapt the chambers for fast chilling and heat treatment. It has manufactured installations that include semi-automatic and automatic systems for higher processing capacities.
Walsall Engineering will supply technical sales, project management and full mechanical and electrical installation.
