T Cards has designed a simple system of recording or pre-warning management of potential site danger, using coloured cards stored on a wall-mounted board.

Safety incidents are logged on the board, which is mounted in the most appropriate prominent location so that staff and management get a clear visual overview of potential hazards.

The company has created a base structure for the safety boards range, while each one can be tailored easily to conform to the needs of a plant or office environment. Cards are coloured according to the severity of the incident: red to indicate immediate danger unless action is taken, or a buff card that allows staff to pre-warn management of a potential risk. Cards are either standard or bespoke, pre-printed to allow incident data to be logged, such as time, date, what action was taken and by whom.

As various actions are completed, the cards are re-positioned on the boards, moving vertically and horizontally to an immediate view of the next step in the follow-up chain. By using this simple card system as an event logger, management can easily review incident levels and actions.

Variations on the theme are available for stock management, scheduling and processing.
