The Institute of Food Research has launched a new sustainability special interest group and accompanying website at www.ifr.ac.uk/waste.
The site provides information on initiatives for waste minimisation, research on co-product exploitation, technologies for treatment of food waste, relevant legislation and sources of funding for sustainability initiatives.
