British drinkers are falling out of love with whisky and turning to vodka, according to a report from market analyst Datamonitor.
But the trend away from traditional national spirits is not confined to the UK. The French are forsaking pastis and the Russians giving up on vodka in favour of more expensive and exotic alternatives, said Datamonitor.
