The jobs are being offered from today (September 19) with vacancies in more than 1,000 stores nationwide.

It's anticipated that around 2,000 of these temporary roles will be made permanent, as new stores are opened and extended,” according to a statement from the firm.

Its customer service and colleague director Gwyn Burr, added:“Job creation is one of the most important contributions we make to the communities in which we serve, so this year we're happy to announce that we have created 15,000 seasonal jobs. Christmas is the busiest time of year in our stores, so the work is fast-paced, varied and rewarding.”
