A new report to help the nutritional product industry deal with complex European and national regulations has been published by food consultancy European Advisory Services.
Marketing Food Supplements, Fortified and Functional Foods in Europe 2005 is an overview of changes in regulations that have forced manufacturers to modify their products and of European and national rules on health claims. It also looks at genetically modified organisms, allergen labelling, food additives and novel foods.
