As sustainability continues to rise up the corporate agenda, Ireland has ambitious plans to become a world-leader in the production of sustainable food through its Origin Green initiative.

The Emerald Isle has always had the image of being a green and natural environment for food production, but now it is gathering the facts to prove it and wants its manufacturers to sign up to its sustainability charter.

But how will this impact food manufacturers? And, who picks up the bill? As one of Origin Green’s flag-bearers, Glanbia Dairy Ingredients been applauded by the Irish government for its work on sustainability.
