Peterborough is targeting food processors and suppliers with a direct mail and advertising campaign aimed at persuading them to relocate to the city.
According to the Greater Peterborough Investment Agency, local food companies achieve as much as double the turnover growth of comparable firms elsewhere in the UK.
Among the latest arrivals is machinery and blade supplier Tritin which moved its offices out of Surrey to join factory and test kitchen staff at Orton Southgate.
