More than 100 staff have lost their jobs at the Scarborough firm Bakery Products, confirms administrator the P&A Partnership.
The P&A Partnership has been unable to find a buyer for Bakery Products
The administrators – which have been unable to find a buyer for the business – were appointed on June 7.
Going concern
The administrator’s Andy Wood said: “We have kept Bakery Products going all week in a bid to find a buyer for it as a going concern.
"Regrettably that has not been possible and we were left with no choice other than to close the bakery."
Bakery Products acquired 11 of Woodhead the Bakers' shops when it went into administration in April 2011.
